Our book-creation events – or Book Dashes – are the heart of what we do. At each one, we gather fifty creative professionals who work, as volunteers, for twelve hours to create new children’s storybooks. Everything they create is a gift to the world.
We also work with early-childhood and literacy organisations to give away free books, which have been printed with funding from donors and sponsors. At giveaway events, we get to meet some of the children who’ll be reading our books.
And our volunteers, sponsors, partners, and the children we make books for often give us occasion to to celebrate together.
