On the 11th of the 11th at 11am (South African time) Book Dash supporters from around the world joined us for a session at the Open Publishing Fest to hear from partner organisations how the Book Dash open content and model help them to tackle problems around literacy and reading.
It was a fascinating session, proving again that the decision to open-license all our work enables so much to be done with it!
Aditi Mehta shared the massive reach of the Freadom app in India, and Koen den Hartog showed us how Bloom technology is used to bring stories into under-served classrooms in the many different vernacular languages in Papua New Guinea.
