Our Privacy Policy describes the information collected by our non-profit organisation Book Dash, through our mobile applications, and the use of that information.

This privacy policy describes the treatment of information provided or collected on the sites where this privacy policy is posted. It also explains the treatment of information provided or collected on applications we make available on third-party sites or platforms if disclosed to you in connection with use of the application. We follow this privacy policy in accordance with local law in the places where we operate.

Types of information we collect

  • Personal information: we do not collect any information about you.
  • Non-personal information: when you visit our sites or use our applications we collect information about how you use the application; the duration of how long you use the app, and screens viewed within the app; usage, viewing and technical data, including your device identifier or IP address.
  • We do not give out any non-personal information to anybody outside our company.

Children’s privacy

Our website and mobile applications comply with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (“COPPA”). We don’t knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13, and if in the event that a user identifies himself or herself as a child under the age of 13 through a support request or through any feedback, we will not collect, store or use, and will delete in a secure manner, any personal information of such user.

Support queries

We allow users to contact us if they have support questions about use of our mobile applications. If you submit a support request, we may receive your email address and other information you provide related to your support request (“Support Information”). We use Support Information only.

Information sharing and disclosure

We use Support Information only for the support for the internal operations of our website and apps as provided under Section 312.2 of the COPPA rules effective July 1, 2013.

Changes to this policy

From time to time, we may change this privacy policy to accommodate new technologies, industry practices, regulatory requirements or for other purposes.
