The core Book Dash team is made up of experienced publishing professionals and social impact innovators, but it takes many hands to make and sustain our track record of impressive impact;

• Our funders and champions believe in our shared vision of every child owning one hundred books by age five. They work with us to unlock opportunities to make that happen.
• Our trusted distribution partners, working on the ground to get our books into children’s hands and hearts. 
• The core Book Dash team drives the organisation forward and makes sure it can stick around for a long time to come.

Our management team’s skills span educational publishing, large-scale literacy interventions, business administration and organisational management. They manage day-to-day operations and strategy to make sure that Book Dash not only survives, but thrives.

Our Board is stacked with book-production pros, sustainability specialists and open-license aficionados. They ensure sound governance and offer ongoing input on our strategic direction.

Trained in the 12-hour Book Dash publishing process, these book-making wizards don’t only know what’s needed to create beautiful books in just one day – they know how to make it happen! From recruiting creative volunteers to planning logistics and helping teams stay on track, Book Dash facilitators are a one-stop shop for making book magic.

Book Dash works with a network of trusted suppliers who provide services and support in key organisational development areas. These suppliers are integrated into Book Dash’s systems and immersed in our culture. They believe in our vision as strongly as the core team and we consider them our extended family! This way of working allows us to access key skills while keeping our staff team lean.
